How To Lighten Your Inner Thighs And Dark Buttocks

Generally, people have dark inner thighs because your skin tends to rub against each other. At times, this darkness between the thighs may be due to sweating, skin reaction or shaving too. Similarly, your buttocks can become dark due to the accumulation of dead skin cells and dry skin. So, if you want to whiten the inner thighs as well as the buttocks fast you should follow these remedies.

Here are some natural remedies to get rid of dark inner thighs and buttocks at home.


Turmeric is one of the best remedies that can promote bright and glowing skin. Regular application of turmeric paste can treat dark buttocks and inner thighs. 

You will need: 1Tbsp of turmeric powder, 1 Tbsp was f honey and 1 Tsbp of sandalwood powder.

Method: Mix all the ingredients and apply it on your inner thighs and buttocks. Leave it till the paste dries and then wash it with lukewarm water. 


Lemon contains antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which can treat the skin easily. Also, lemon contains citric acid which can whiten the skin naturally and also keep your skin healthy. Take one lemon and rub it on the buttocks as well as inner thighs. Allow the juice to dry and wash off the area with cold water. You can also mix turmeric  and lemon for more effective result. 


Aloe vera is extremely soothing in nature as it can promote healthy, supple and glowing skin. Scoop out some fresh aloe vera gel and massage your thighs and buttocks with it. Wash off with water once it is completely dry. 

You can also mix a few drops of almond oil in 2 Tbsp of aloe Vera gel. Apply this mixture on your inner thighs and buttocks and massage gently until it is absorbed into your skin. Wait 15 minutes and rinse your skin with water. You can do this twice a day. 


Baking soda can also improve dark complexion. It works as an exfoliating agent to remove sun-damaged skin cells that have darkened.

Mix 1 Tbsp each of baking soda and milk or water to make a paste. Add a little honey and mix well. Apply it on the affected area and rub gently in circular motions for a couple of minutes. Rinse it off with lukewarm water. Repeat this thrice a week. You can also use apple cider vinegar and baking soda for dark inner thighs and buttocks. 


Oats helps in the exfoliation and honey is rich in antibacterial properties. Make a paste with oat and honey and apply in the dark area. Slowly massage the area for 5 minutes allow it to get dry. Then scrub it and wash it with water. Do it alternate days and see changes on a fortnight. 


Take proper care of your skin, especially in the inner thigh area, by regularly washing and scrubbing it to prevent accumulation of dirt and dead skin cells.

Use a chemical-free soap and soft sponge to wash your thighs. You can use dark inner thighs cream for effective results.

Avoid wearing rough jeans that can irritate the skin when the material rubs against your thighs.

Don’t shave all the time as regular shaving over a period of time can result in dark inner thighs.

Combat obesity as it can contribute prevent skin discoloration on that part of your body due to friction.
